NORAH JONES' NEW ALBUM: Norah Jones will be a releasing a new album this spring called, Little Broken Hearts. Little Broken Hearts is Jones' fifth studio album. It will feature original songs co-written by Jones and Danger Mouse. Jones plans to tour in 2012, in the US and abroad. She will return to the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on August 10. Many more dates will be announced in the coming months.
MICHELLE BRANCH HAVING PROBLEMS WITH HER LABEL: Michelle Branch has been bombarded on Twitter about her new album, West Coast Time. Unfortunately, the public has not heard much about it and Michelle seems fustrated as well. She tweeted, "Getting a lot of tweets asking for info on the new album West Coast Time. Unfortunately, I know about as much as you do. To be continued." No word on when her album is going to be released.
SINEAD O'CONNOR BLASTS THE MEDIA: Sinead O'Connor took to Twitter this week to yell at the media for attempting to destroy her estranged husband's career. In a series of tweets she said, "Regarding my sweet husband. Nothing I did... deserved him to be set upon by media trying to destroy his career. So it is evil to blame me as u do media people because I am open, u may be guilty of a thousand crimes and yes I am. But it was YOU who decided to destroy my husband just because I loved him, NOTHING I ever did or didn't do deserved my innocent husband to be set upon and u are animals and I want u to know u have taken the very heart of me because I loved that man...It was your evil hearts that set out to destroy him just because I loved him... U chose from ur own evil hearts to hurt a butterfly.. Which was my husband. Why hurt him for my crimes?"
BETHENNY FRANKEL TALK SHOW ON THE WAY: Contrary to rumors -- Bethenny Frankel is getting her own daytime TV show. Although it was previously reported that no one picked up the pilot, Bethenny announced on Tuesday that a six-week preview of the series will air in select Fox markets this summer. She blogged, "The queen of too much information is coming to DAYTIME! I am indeed getting my own L.A.-based talk show this summer on FOX and I am beyond excited! I am ready to start discussing the topics that are most important to my fans. It is going to be an exciting journey, with a lot of fun along the way and I can't wait for you to join me." Bethenny, a former Real Housewife of New York, now stars on her own Bravo spinoff, Bethenny Ever After.
JASON SEGEL NAMED HASTY PUDDING MAN OF THE YEAR: Jason Segel has been named the Hasty Pudding Man of the Year by Harvard University's Hasty Pudding Theatricals. The annual award comes with a parade and roast for the honoree -- which this year will take place on February 3rd. Claire Danes was named this year's Woman of the Year.
EMILY MAYNARD IS OFFICIALLY 'THE BACHELORETTE': ABC has confirmed what everyone already knew: Emily Maynard is the new Bachelorette. Brad Womack's ex-fiance will be looking for televised love again, only she'll be doing it on her turf -- Charlotte, NC -- instead of Los Angeles, where the show is generally filmed. The location switch up was reportedly one of Maynard's requirements because she's the single mother of a six-year-old daughter named Ricki.
KHLOE KARDASHIAN LANDS RADIO GIG: Khloe Kardashian has landed a real job: as a radio host! E! confirmed that the reality star will host a new radio show in Dallas, TX -- where her husband Lamar Odom plays for the Mavericks -- called "The Mix Up with Khloe Kardashian Odom." The show, which will air from 12 to 1 p.m. CST on Mix 102.9, debuts on January 30th. Khloe's new boss describes her as having "the perfect mix of personality and sincerity."
NEW REHAB SHOW FOR DR. DREW: Dr. Drew is coming out with a new rehab reality show -- but this time it doesn't involve celebrities. RadarOnline.com reported that the former Celebrity Rehab frontman is launching Rehab with Dr. Drew, which will feature "regular" addicts looking to overcome their demons. A casting alert explained, "Participants will be given a once in a lifetime opportunity to enroll in a no-cost, 30-day treatment program to begin the process of breaking free from the bonds of addiction and take their first steps down the road to recovery." JENNIFER ANISTON AND JASON BATEMAN DOUBLE DATE: Jennifer Aniston and her Horrible Bosses costar Jason Bateman are real life friends. The actors -- and their significant others -- Jen's beau Justin Theroux and Jason's pregnant wife Amanda Anka, were spotted on a double date in West Hollywood over the weekend. People magazine reported that the foursome spent more than three hours together, and that Jen and Justin were "attentive and coupley" throughout the meal.
ANDY DICK SUED: Two men who claim that Andy Dick sexually assaulted them at a West Virginia nightclub two years ago have filed a lawsuit against the comedian. Criminal charges against Dick are already pending in relation to the incident, for which he's due to stand trial on May 1st. Last summer he pleaded not guilty to two counts of felony first-degree sexual abuse. He's accused of grabbing a bouncer's crotch and kissing a patron. The lawsuit says that "the men were victims of 'battery and sexual abuse' and demands compensatory and punitive damages for emotional distress, outrageous conduct, assault and invasion of privacy."
JAY CUTLER SAYS HE NEVER DUMPED KRISTIN: Last summer it was widely reported that Jay Cutler dumped Kristin Cavallari and broke off their engagement -- but now that they're reengaged and pregnant -- he says it's not true. The NFL star responded to the well-wishes about Kristin's pregnancy on Twitter, writing, "Thanks for all the tweets. We couldn't be more excited. We don't usually comment on our relationship, but for the record I never broke up with Kristin. It's unfortunate some people are saying hurtful things during such a joyous moment in our life."
DICK TUFELD DIES AT 85: Dick Tufeld, the man who voiced the robot from Lost in Space, has died at the age of 85. His former Lost in Space costar Bill Mumy confirmed the sad news, saying that Tufeld -- who had battled cancer and Parkinson's disease -- died peacefully at an L.A. area hospital. Mumy told TMZ.com, "Everything just caught up to him. He lost his wife a few years ago and lost his pep after that."
DANIA RAMIREZ ENGAGED: Dania Ramirez is engaged. The actress, who starred in Heroes and X-Men: The Last Stand is set to marry her actor/director boyfriend Bev Land. She told Latina.com of her new fiance, "The love of my life found me! That's how he would say it anyway since he claims he was attracted to my energy before I even turned around."
