Smithsonian Doesn't Want OJ Simpson Suit
Thursday, 04 March 2010 14:52
O-J Simpson's acquittal suit isn't going to the Smithsonian.

The museum says it won't accept the suit, which Simpson wore when he was acquitted of murdering Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman in 1995. According to the A-P, Smithsonian spokeswoman Linda Saint Thomas says the suit isn't appropriate for the museum's collection.

Fred Goldman -- the father of the Ron -- and Simpson's former sports agent Mike Gilbert have been battling over the rights to the suit for 13 years.

According to the agreement the two made, if the suit wasn't accepted by the Smithsonian it would be offered to another museum or institution of higher learning. T-M-Z says the National Museum of Crime and Punishment in Washington D-C is interested in the suit.

According to court documents in his child custody case, his ex Samantha Trigger told her lawyer that her ex-boyfriend Eddie Sanchez was planning to kill Cryer as well as her estranged husband, David Dickey. But, according to the docs, when Dickey confronted Sanchez, he said it was Trigger "who had contacted him on numerous occasions, stating that she wanted to see [Cryer and Dickey] dead, and even asking Mr. Sanchez if he would kill the pair, or if he would not, inquiring whether she could speak with Mr. Sanchez's father about this issue."
Tiger Woods Kills PETA Campaign

PETA created a billboard with an image of the golfer and the caption: "Too much sex can be a bad thing...for little tigers too. Help keep your cats (and dogs) out of trouble: Always spay or neuter!"

A campaigner for the project, Virginia Fort, told the Orlando Sentinel, "We're sure Tiger will appreciate our attempt -- from a story that's distracted the world and followed Tiger -- to turn it into something positive for little tigers." Unsurprisingly, Tiger didn't appreciate it and the billboards won't be going up.
