HOT AIR CONTEST - OTTUMWA PRO BALLOON RACES

TOM-FM has teamed up with the Iowa Lottery as part of their Silver Summer Celebration (25 years of Lottery in the state!)  Join us June 26th at 4:00 pm (registration starts at 3:00pm) at the Jimmy Jones Shelter House in Ottumwa Park.  Simply blow up the most balloons in 97 seconds (rules apply and will be judged) and you can win!  We're giving away $300 worth of Iowa Lottery Silver Ticket Scratch offs to the top five finishers!  You could turn that into $25,000.00 in cash from TOM-FM and the Iowa Lottery!  We ask that you donate an item to the Heartland Humane Society to enter but it is not required. Everyone who enters will receive a free 2-liter of Dr. Pepper in honor of Dr. Pepper turning 125 years old this year.  You must be 21 to play!

1ST ANNUAL BALLOON SEND OFF - OTTUMWA PRO BALLOON RACES

Immediately following the Hot Air Contest, KLEE and TOM-FM will hold their 1st annual BALLOON SEND OFF! All ages are welcome to participate.  We'll be releasing the balloons from behind the shelter house approximately 5pm on June 26th.  You will be able to purchase a balloon for $1.00 each, with all proceeds going to the Heartland Humane Society.  Once all balloons are filled, we'll release them all together!  Do it to help a great cause!  Do it in memory of a loved one or a pet!  Do it because it's cool to see a bunch of balloons in the air all at once!  (if balloon is released early, you will need to purchase another one to participate!)  Balloons are 100% bio-degradable and no strings will be used!  Come join the fun!

THE DAVIS COUNTY FAIR - JULY 7TH THRU 11TH

Join KLEE & TOM-FM as we broadcast LIVE from the DAVIS COUNTY FAIR in Bloomfield. The Fair goes on from the 7th to 11th with daily activities. KLEE/TOM-FM will be there on Friday July 9th from 4pm to 6pm, look for the TOM-FM truck. We'll have give-aways and your chance to win Iowa Cubs Tickets, Adventureland Tickets & Schlitterbahn Water-park Tickets. Listen to TOM-FM for all the details! DISCIN' FOR LIFE - CHARITY DISC GOLF TOURNAMENT - JULY 25TH

A charity event to benefit the American Cancer Society--relay for life.  Sunday June 25th at Wildwood Park.  Registration is from 8:30 to 9:30 am and play begins at 10:00am.  Registration fee is only $20.00 and includes two (2) rounds of disc golf, plus eligibility to win prizes, a Relay for Life water bottle and refreshments during the event.  All proceeds benefit the Wapello County Relay for Life taking place Friday September 17th, 2010 at IHCC.  Contact Rob Kepler at 641-799-0549 if you have any questions or to pre-register.  Come join us for a day of fun and benefit a great cause!
