2. The secret to getting people to tell you office gossip is . . . making them LAUGH.  A study found that once you've got them laughing, they're more likely to share stuff with you they probably shouldn't . . . and won't even realize they're doing it.

 

3. A new survey found Americans think about money almost TWICE as much as sex.  We think about our family the most, followed by our spouse . . . money . . . our "purpose" in the world . . . work . . . and THEN sex.

 

4. Having sex with someone the first time you meet someone does NOT mean you won't end up in a real relationship.  A new survey found HALF of people have had sex with someone the first night they met . . . and one in THREE wound up going on at least one real date with that person.

A new study found advertising with half-naked MEN works better on straight guys than ads with half-naked women.  When men see ads featuring a shirtless, muscular dude, it makes them MORE likely to spend recklessly . . . to prove that even though they're not that ripped, they're worth having sex with anyway.

Here are a few random facts for you.  According to astronauts, space smells like bacon, burned almond cookies, or rotten eggs.  High heels were originally worn by men in the 1600s as a way to show status and power.  And Ralph Macchio is now older than Pat Morita was when he played Mr. Miyagi in "The Karate Kid".

 

2. A new list ranked the best beer countries in the world, using factors like the number of beers they make, the number of bars, and their brewing history.  The top five are:  Belgium . . . the United States . . . the U.K. . . . Germany . . . and Denmark.

 

3. A new study analyzed reviews of bars to figure out which brands of booze Americans have the hardest time spelling.  The top five are:  Jagermeister . . . Budweiser . . . Jameson . . . Hennessy . . . and Jack Daniel's.

 

4. Happy St. Patrick's Day . . . wanna know how to open a beer bottle with just a sheet of paper?  Fold it in half from top to bottom.  Then fold it in half long-ways three times.  Now that it's thick, fold it in the middle to create a "V" shape, put the "V" under the cap, and pop it off.

Here are a few random facts for you.  The electricity it takes to charge your phone every night for a year costs you around 50 cents.  There are about 82 million Korean people in the world . . . and all of them use just 250 last names.  And the flag that the Apollo 11 astronauts planted on the moon came from Sears.

 

2. A new study found what every state is BEST at . . . and they're all pretty random.  Here are a few examples:  North Dakota has the largest average MALE GENITALIA . . . Wyoming has the lowest syphilis rate . . . Florida has the most four-year-olds in preschool . . . and Illinois has the most units of local government.

 

3. Here are some of the best unique slang terms from every state.  People in Iowa don't give wedgies, they give "snuggies."  In Maryland, a "chicken necker" is a tourist who's trying to catch crabs.  And in Alaska a "sourdough" is someone who's lived there for a long time.

 

4. A new study found the states with the highest rates for different STDs.  Washington D.C. has the highest gonorrhea, syphilis, and HIV rates . . . Delaware has the highest chlamydia rate . . . and Kentucky has the highest Hepatitis C rate.

Here are a few random facts for you.  The average age of the people in the control room during the Apollo 11 moon landing was 28.  The ampersand was the 27th letter in the alphabet during the 1800s.  And the most gender-neutral name in America is Marion . . . it's been given to 3,549 girls and 3,569 boys over the past three decades.

 

2. Here are some results from a new sex survey by "Esquire" and "Cosmopolitan".  Only 1% of women and 3% of men say it's harassment if a male boss tells a female employee her haircut makes her look pretty.  7% of men and 1% of women have FORWARDED a naked selfie someone sent to them.  And only 51% of women and 29% of men say they're feminists.

 

3. A new study found you may be sexist without even realizing it.  If you open doors for women, pay for dates, or offer your coat when they're cold, the researchers say it shows you think women can't take care of themselves.

 

4. A new study found the average person spends more time on their laptop, phone, and tablet than SLEEPING . . . and four out of five of us keep our phones on and next to us all night long.

2. A new survey found 14% of us have never written a letter . . . 20% have never made a physical photo album . . . and 34% have never made someone a mix tape or CD.

 

3. There's a rare condition where you get drunk off FRENCH FRIES.  It's called auto-brewery syndrome, where people have extra-high levels of yeast in their stomachs.  So when they eat food that's high in carbs, it's converted to alcohol.

 

4. There's a new article in a medical journal about a 10-year-old boy in Italy who had SEIZURES and brain swelling because he ate 20 pieces of black licorice every day.  There's a chemical in it that can lower potassium levels and increase blood pressure . . . so eat it in moderation.

 

5. A 17-year-old guy in Oregon asked a Vegas SHOWGIRL to go to his prom, and she agreed . . . IF he got 10,000 retweets.  He got up to 1,300, but the principal stepped in because the school bans anyone over 20 from dances.

2. According to a new survey, 68% of people getting a tax refund this year will use it to pay off debt . . . 15% will spend it on something they need . . . 11% will put it in their savings . . . 4% haven't decided . . . and only 2% plan to spend it on something fun, like a vacation or shopping.

Did you know someone's assigned a specific dollar value to all of your body parts?  Every state sets its own worker's comp numbers and has a chart saying how much money you should get if you lose one of them.  For example, Nevada thinks a hand is worth about $739,000 . . . but Alabama thinks it's only worth $37,400.

 

4. A new study found the most expensive year of your life is age 50 . . . because that's when ALL the biggest expenses in your life collide.  You're still paying your mortgage and supporting your children . . . but you've also got new costs from more expensive health care and insurance.

 

5. A new study found 66% of single men and 50% of single women had a one-night stand last year.  And the woman who ran the study says it could lead to a lot of future relationships . . . because having sex with someone you barely know is a great way to bond with them.

4. The Arizona Diamondbacks are selling a new dessert at their ballpark this season . . . the CHURRO DOG.  It's a churro in a donut bun, with ice cream as the topping.  It'll be $8.50 . . . and approximately 1,117 calories.

3. KFC is going to start selling the world's first EDIBLE COFFEE CUP.   It's made of cookies and lined with chocolate . . . so as you drink your coffee, the chocolate melts and you can start eating the cup.  Unfortunately they're only doing it in the U.K. later this year.

 

4. A new survey found the five best places to hit on someone are the gym . . . the dog park . . . at a bar . . . online . . . and at adult education classes.  (???) The worst place to pick someone up is during SURGERY.
