HOMEOWNER ORDERED TO TAKE DOWN ZOMBIE NATIVITY SCENE: An Ohio homeowner has been ordered by Sycamore Township officials to take down a Nativity scene outside of his home that featured zombies --  instead of humans -- as baby Jesus and the wise men. The man, Jasen Dixon, who manages a haunted house, said, "I wanted a Nativity and I worked with what I had. The neighbors don't like it. My father hates it and anything bad that happens he blames on that." (Fox News)

DRINK DRIVER CLAIMS TO BE VLADIMIR PUTIN'S COUSIN: A Russian man was stopped for suspicion of driving under the influence in England and told police he was Vladmir Putin's cousin and a member of the Russian mafia in an attempt to intimidate the police officers. The man refused a breathalyzer and told the officers that if he was charged he would not turn up in court and would head back to Russia. He was remanded to custody and pled guilty to failing to provide a specimen for analysis. He was baaned from driving for six months, given a curfew for 30 days and ordered to pay forty pounds for costs and sixty pounds for victim surcharge. Superintendent Jane Derrick said, "The behavior of Tencs might appear funny if his actions had not been so dangerous." (East Grinstead Courier)
