1. Here are a few random facts for you.  Americans will eat 1.25 billion chicken wings during the Super Bowl.  There was a 54% jump in ukulele sales in 2013 . . . mainly because people played them in YouTube videos.  And "cheese" is not one of the 27 ingredients listed on a can of Cheez Whiz.


2. A new study found that having a strong social life with friends can improve your chance of living longer by 7%.  But having strong connections with your family might do the OPPOSITE.  It's because regular contact with your family can add stress to your life.


3. Helicopter parenting may not be great for your kids . . . but it's great for your PETS.  A new study found people who are more neurotic, overprotective, and affectionate toward their pets have healthier and happier pets . . . and are happier themselves as well.


4. An elderly guy in California had a procedure a few years ago that required a catheter, but he had problems with it, and asked to have it removed.  His insurance company rejected his request, and within a week, it had SPLIT his junk in half and ERODED it.  Now he's suing his insurance company for negligence, elder abuse, and unfair business practices.
