1. Here are a few random facts for you.  Daylight saving time was repealed after World War One, then reinstated during World War Two to conserve energy.  Up to 15% of two-year-olds in Boston drink coffee.  And the Beastie Boys were originally a hardcore punk band . . . with a female drummer.

2. A new survey found 14% of us have never written a letter . . . 20% have never made a physical photo album . . . and 34% have never made someone a mix tape or CD.

3. There's a rare condition where you get drunk off FRENCH FRIES.  It's called auto-brewery syndrome, where people have extra-high levels of yeast in their stomachs.  So when they eat food that's high in carbs, it's converted to alcohol.

4. There's a new article in a medical journal about a 10-year-old boy in Italy who had SEIZURES and brain swelling because he ate 20 pieces of black licorice every day.  There's a chemical in it that can lower potassium levels and increase blood pressure . . . so eat it in moderation.

5. A 17-year-old guy in Oregon asked a Vegas SHOWGIRL to go to his prom, and she agreed . . . IF he got 10,000 retweets.  He got up to 1,300, but the principal stepped in because the school bans anyone over 20 from dances.
